Ultraframe's market-leading classic conservatory roofing system is yet again set to transform the conservatory industry with the launch of a suite of Aluminium claddings for the Classic conservatory roof- meaning the same great conservatory roof technology with a new great look.
The Ultraframe Classic aluminium conservatory roof system features state of the art conservatory roof design technology with elegant, contemporary profiles providing a rigid yet lightweight system that can be configurable into virtually any conservatory design.
The Classic aluminium conservatory roof system features the following external claddings:
- Aluminium glazing bar top cappings
- Aluminium ridge body
- Aluminium ball finial and traditional cresting
- Aluminium cast ridge end, integral brush and weathering flashing
Also available as an option with the aluminium suite is the decorative aluminium cornice guttering, with further enhancements on this unique product due in June with the introduction of die cast aluminium corner covers in 135 and 90 degree angles to help fitters achieve a consistent fit at the critical joints.
The Ultraframe Classic Aluminium conservatory roof system offers retailers the choice of two styles of transom bar top cappings, a contemporary and traditional style. The retailers have the choice of virtually any RAL colour for the roof, and because the colour has such a big influence on the look and overall feel of the conservatory, offers a wide range of gloss and special metal flake finishes ensuring retailers can provide a finish to suit all conservatory tastes.
All Ultraframe top caps in the range utilise innovative Schlegel Q-lon gaskets which are inserted into the glazing bar top cap slots. Due to their unique design shape, when under compression, these gaskets create a double weatherseal, remaining operational and elastic even in the worst of weather conditions, without any loss in seal.
The Ultraframe Classic aluminium conservatory roof also takes a different approach to top cap retention. To ensure that there is a constant thermal break and that no fixings puncture the primary weatherproofing, Ultraframe has developed a new patented device which is simply ‘zipped’ into the head of the aluminium bar whilst the roof is being built. These spring clip security devices are then deployed at 500mm centres on site, nipped into final position before – with no more than the heel of the hand – the top cap is finally secured.
As with all Ultraframe conservatory roof systems the Classic aluminium conservatory roof range comes with a comprehensive installation guide which includes details on how to install the roof as well as detailed information on retouching, maintenance and cleaning of the aluminium painted finish which can be passed on to the homeowner so that the conservatory roof can receive proper care and maintenance during its lifetime.
