What's new with Ultralite 2.0?
Developed for roof pitches from just 2.5° to 10°, the new Ultralite 2.0 system builds on the success of the original Ultralite500, introducing a range of improvements to make installation quicker and easier, while delivering a sleek, modern appearance.
Positioned as the lowest-priced roof on the market, Ultralite 2.0 provides installers with a cost-effective roofing solution for a wide range of lean-to applications, helping them remain competitive without compromising on quality or performance.
A key focus of the new system is ease of installation, with several new features designed to simplify the fitting process and reduce time on site. New setting-out jigs clearly identify where glazing bars need to be cut and drilled, eliminating guesswork and reducing the potential for installation errors.
The system also introduces a range of contemporary design enhancements, including modern square chambered top caps, a new square gutter profile, ventilated wall plate undercladding and an integrated curved fascia. Coordinated white components throughout create a clean, consistent finish that complements both traditional and modern properties.
Ultralite 2.0 features 25mm opal polycarbonate glazing, with a glazing U-value of 1.7 W/m²K and 15% light transmission, providing a practical roofing solution for low-pitch applications.
The go-to system for refurbishment projects
The new system is also ideal for refurbishment projects, offering a straightforward replacement solution for existing Ultralite500 roofs. Where site conditions allow, installers can retain the existing aluminium wall plate, wall channel top cap and lead flashing, helping to minimise disruption and simplify the replacement process.
