Online Learning Continues to Soar

Despite the restrictions of the pandemic coming to an end and life very much returning to normal, Ultraframe has reported that the thirst for its online learning programme and business tools – developed to help customers keep trading through the pandemic – continues to grow. This was demonstrated most recently with a record number of attendees at a webinar about the company’s new Goalpost structural support solution.

Commenting about the trend, Ultraframe Marketing Director, Alex Hewitt, said: “We have provided digital business solutions to our customers for many years now, but when the pandemic began, we took the opportunity to really enhance this part of our marketing offering to ensure that our customers could continue to trade through the various lockdowns and restrictions that were to follow. While we fully expected that these would be popular during those difficult trading times, it is interesting to see that their popularity continues to grow now that restrictions have been lifted. We believe that many companies used the changes imposed on them during the pandemic to evaluate ways of working, both to increase efficiencies and also to create a better work/life balance for their employees. We are very proud to have been a part of helping our customers with this and will continue to enhance our online learning and support offering.”

Webinars have been a key part of the Ultraframe online support package. These offer the opportunity for companies to dial in to a live online presentation to learn about new products and services without the need for a full day or more away from the office due to travel. The webinars are often presented by staff from a number of departments across Ultraframe; coming together to share their expertise, and attendees have the opportunity to engage with the presenters by asking questions.

Once a webinar has taken place, anyone who was unable to attend can still access a recording to watch when convenient, along with supporting information to continue their learning. To date there are 14 webinars available to rewatch, covering a wide range of products and solutions.

In addition to the webinars and the many online sales tools available through the Ultraframe Lockdown Toolkit, the company has also recently launched new tools to help its customers specify Goalposts and create more accurate design quotes, including a beam calculator, flow chart, and a lateral stability explainer video and structural support guide.

Concluding, Alex said: “It’s fantastic to see how our customers have really embraced online learning and resources over the last few years and we have received extremely positive feedback about our webinar programme. We were very proud to have broken our own record for the number of webinar attendees on our recent Goalpost webinar. For anyone wanting to get involved in this new online learning programme, I would urge you to contact the Marketing Team to find out more.”
