Hot on the heels of the launch of Loggia, Ultraframe previewed at FIT Show the UK’s first REAL roof designed to support Ultraframe network partners in entering the single storey extension market. Unlike other solid roof products on the market today, Ultraframe realROOF, is the industry’s first robust roofing solution that further enhances the solidity and thermal performance of new build extensions or conservatory transformations.

realROOF is a completely self supported structure and unlike lightweight roofs targeting the retrofit market, realROOF is not reliant on the structural integrity of the side frames or glazing.  realROOF, as the name implies, delivers all the innovation and technical integrity you’d expect from an Ultraframe system enabling the use of all heavy weight roof finishes to tie in with the existing property.

Andrew Thomson, design and development director at Ultraframe comments on realROOF: “Loggia is the system that really opens up the single storey extension market for our network partners, delivering the same, if not better, thermal performance as a brick built extension.  From the installers point of view realROOF provides absolute peace of mind that the weight of the roof is not carried through the side frames, which of course, is inherent with risk.  But equally from the homeowner’s perspective, they can enjoy their new space with a highly thermal and structurally superior roof that delivers both aesthetically and functionally.”

The preview of realROOF at FIT Show demonstrated the commitment of Ultraframe to support its partners in the provision of a broad range of building systems that open up new markets, yet, enable its customers to continue to fulfill the needs of the conservatory market.

Sales and marketing director Joe Martoccia explains: “Loggia is a completely versatile building system.  As we are now seeing across the UK, Loggia has something for every price point but critically it also appeals to homeowners who want to transform and upgrade an existing conservatory as well as create a brand new space.  realROOF does exactly the same thing – it will appeal to the conservatory transformation market, but equally, will have vast appeal to homeowners looking for a single storey extension.”

Joe continues: “The clever part of realROOF is that it can be sold as a roof upgrade, replacing either a polycarbonate or light weight roof, or can be sold as a package with Loggia columns, cornice and LivinRoom to deliver a genuine, flexible extension system.”

Without question, Ultraframe has the most technically robust systems available in the market and has a solution that appeals to entry-level conservatory owners right through to homeowners looking for a building regulation compliant single storey extension.  Joe concludes: “Ultraframe is developing systems that will allow our network partners to compete head to head in the single storey extension market – a market experiencing significant growth.”
