Ultraframe the market-leading designer and manufacturer of conservatory roofing systems has launched its latest innovative roofing system. Named Pagoda, the roof is a new take on the traditional lantern style conservatory and offers installers the chance to offer discerning homeowners a uniquely different new style of conservatory.
Andrew Thomson, Design and Development Director at Ultraframe commented: “Following consultation days with our customers we recognised a desire for a new and exciting style of conservatory roof, which would appeal to today’s consumer. The Pagoda roof is the result of a complex research and development process, which has resulted in a roof that is not only aesthetically stunning, but also amazingly strong, allowing spans of up to 7.5m wide and 9m projection.”
The roof has some similarities to the traditional lantern style, but does not feature the vertical row of windows between the two tiers of the roof – resulting in a look that is contemporary and yet versatile in its choice of glazing options. The Pagoda roof can be glazed with Conservaglass, polycarbonate or the latest Conservapanels from Ultraframe – or a combination of any of these across the two tiers.
Conservapanel offers the chance to create a conservatory-style structure with an opaque roof and which offers outstanding thermal performance with an amazing U value of just 0.16 Wm²/degC. These amazing thermal properties mean that when coupled with Conservaglass in the side frames and one tier of the roof, and with other insulation measures in the base and dwarf wall, the doors between the conservatory and the property can be removed to demonstrate compliance with Building Regulations!
Each panel is formed from high-density vacuum formed fireproof foam in a choice of external and internal colour finishes to ensure a perfect match to the host property.
