hup! brand guidelines

We welcome our customers using the hup! brand across their websites and marketing materials. hup! is a registered trademark of Ultraframe, so, if you choose to use the hup! brand, the following guidelines must be adhered to.

If you are using the hup! brand within your marketing we kindly ask that you make it clear that "hup! is a registered trademark of Ultraframe (UK) Ltd" (a simple sentence in the footer will suffice.

Any exceptions will be deemed to be an infringement of Ultraframe’s registered Trademark.

 

Laura Jane Clark - hup! Brand Ambassador guidelines

Following the announcement of Laura Jane Clark as the hup! Brand Ambassador, there are guidelines and rules which must be adhered to. Please refer to pages 46 - 59 in the hup! brand guidelines for full details on how Laura Jane Clark can be used in your marketing.

Use of hup! in brand names, domains or logos

It is not permissible to use the word ‘hup’ in any company, logo, website domain or brand name. It is not permitted to sell the hup! Building System under any other name, it must be sold as hup!.

 

General use of hup! branding

When using hup! branding in conjunction with your own branding in brochures or websites for example the following rules must apply.

1. When used in text the word hup! must be lower case and always be followed by an exclamation mark (!)

✔️ The hup! building system is brand new
❌ The Hup! building system is brand new
❌ The HUP building system is brand new

 

2. The hup! logo should always be used with the strapline 'The better way to build'

 

3. If using the hup! logo, the correct logos should always be used and it cannot be placed on a coloured background unless this is the hup! blue/grey colour (#081f2d).

It is not permissible to use the word hup! except as plain text or the genuine hup! logo. The following uses of the logo are therefore not allowed.

4. Where possible please use the hup! brand colour, these are as follows:

If these colours do not complement your own brand colour palette, you can replace one of the hup! colours with your own main brand colour to use as an accent colour.

We have provided logos designed to be used alongside your brand accent colour above, these logos cannot be placed on a coloured background.

5. When using images supplied by hup! these must only be used to promote hup! products.

It is not permitted to be used to promote any competitor products or systems in any way.

We would like you to talk about our products and benefits in a similar way to us. We have comprehensive of tone of voice, which can be found in the hup! brand guidelines.

Example hup! tone of voice:

hup! is modern and innovative and focused on making things simpler and hassle-free. The emotional tone is uplifting, inspiring and cheerful, which creates a sense of helpfulness and empathy for the challenges faced by builders and homeowners. hup!’s voice is professional and serious, with an upbeat tone, and communications must create excitement about this innovative concept, as well as confidence and trust in its quality.

Fonts

Where possible please use the Quicksand font when talking about hup!, where this is not possible a standard font should be used such as Arial.
