Dale and his wife had an old conservatory which had become a dumping ground and they longed to transform this into a pitched lean-to extension and had been told this wasn't possible using traditional building methods.

Their hup! builder then introduced them to hup!. The super-strong eaves beam on the hup! tiled roof allowed them to achieve the exact design they were looking for with full length glazing panels to allow plenty of natural light into the extension.

The new extension was built in less than a week as hup! is pre-manufactured off-site into a bespoke kit of parts that are then rapidly assembled on site and the lightweight nature of all hup! materials meant no damage was caused to the garden.

As hup! walls are 25% slimmer than a traditional brick wall, the couple also gained an additional 3m2 of internal floor space which they used to add a downstairs bathroom to their extension.
