Ultraframe, the UK’s leading manufacturer of conservatory roof solutions, has further improved its popular Cornice with the inclusion of die cast aluminum corner covers.

Mark Hanson, marketing manager at Ultraframe, commented: “While our innovative Cornice has already been very widely adopted by retail companies, particularly those looking to create a conservatory with a unique external look and feel, feedback from fitters showed that in some circumstances, ensuring neat mitred joints was proving problematic.

“In a bid to provide a solution, we have developed and introduced powder coated die cast corner covers for the two most popular situations, namely for square corners on Georgians and 135 degree facets on Victorians.

“In fact, the Ultraframe Cornice now comes as standard with die cast aluminum powder coated corner covers for 90° external corners and 135° facades, ensuring fitters achieve a consistent fit and finish at critical junctions.”

The Ultraframe Cornice, which has been designed for use of the Ultraframe Classic and Classic Plus roofs, can be used on either standard eaves beams, or super duty eaves beams to mask the existing Classic pvc gutter, providing a decorative fascia which in effect hides the ends of the glazing bars to provide a smooth, clean finish at the eaves interface and give the conservatory an enhanced appearance.

As well as being available on all new Classic roofs, the Cornice can be retrofitted to existing installations if required, giving you further refurbishment opportunities. It is available in a virtually infinite palette of colours and even includes metal flake finishes.
