The hup! brick slip rail system makes using brick slips for the exterior of a hup! extension fast and simple and is compatible with any brand of brick slips. It delivers considerable time savings and is almost twice as fast as gluing brick slips to a calcium silicate board. Once brick slips are pointed the finished appearance is indistinguishable from a traditional brick wall.
System overview
Installation is fast and simple with carrier panels which stack on top of each other affixed to the wall. Once the panels are fixed, the brick slips are inserted by pushing them down into tabs which grip them in place. This simple process is repeated to form a brick wall pattern using a 10mm spacer between bricks.
Pre-formulated lime-based mortar can then be mixed to point the wall into deep authentic mortar gaps. The mortar engulfs the deformable tabs, fixing them in place and adhering to the brick slip to create an extremely strong and firm surface that is indistinguishable from a real brick wall.
