There were five major products that caused a massive WOW on the Ultraframe stand at Glassex, CM reports.

These five were the Veranda, Classic aluminium roof, the Orangery, Irish Oak finish and the Utopia ecoroof based on the Classic Plus roof. Commented Sales Director Steve Halford, “The show was a massive success, with the vast majority of those seen over the four days being retailers. Exhibiting allows one to one contact across a wide cross section of our functions from the obvious like marketing and sales staff to those in technical and support roles.

Having a customized stand allows us to implement strong physical branding in a way that we don't usually get chance to do (when an Ultraframe sales person is selling from a sample case lifted straight from their car) and the provision of full size conservatories and large cut away models allows all users - Irrespective of level of product knowledge - to see and examine the things that make Ultraframe different to alternatives on the market. It also gives us the chance to inspire retailers with a peek into the future".

The highlight of the stand was Veranda as it was the first thing visitors to the show saw. Appearing in a grey foil – RAL 7015 –it looked sleek and contemporary with full height frames at the side and 'engineered for conservatories' bi folds with the Classic Super Duty eaves Beam above. Ultraframe displayed it's completed Classic aluminium roof, with a new cast ball finial and ridge end arrangement.

The Orangery package – comprising cassette deck, slab insulation, GRP weatherproofing and of course the glass roof - proved popular. Retailers were being very interested to see how they could turn consumer interest into firm sales.

The fourth major introduction was Irish Oak foil. It is proving popular amongst frame suppliers so the demand for roofs will follow.

Last - but not least - we have the Utopia ecoroof. It uses the tracks in the Classic Plus roof to receive a second layer of 32mm opal poly - twinned with 35mm Heatguard externally, this ecoroof claims a 0.53 U value. Warmer in winter, cooler in summer, it definitely won't cost the earth. Those wanting to be the first on the market with Utopia should register now on Ultraframe's trade web site.
