The Ultraframe 5-a-side football team recently won a prestigious North-West tournament – the Charity Legends Football Tournament in aid of McMillan Cancer. Unbeaten throughout the tournament, Ultraframe won 3-0 in the final and were presented with their award by Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier at a presentation evening.

The newly-crowned Ultraframe team went on to participate in a charity game against the likes of Bruce Grobbelaar, John Barnes, Alan Kennedy, Jason McAteer and Peter Reid. Ultimately, youth came out on top and Ultraframe beat the “Legends” 3-0!

Mark Davies, HR Manager at Ultraframe scored one of the winning goals in the final, Mark commented: “It was great to take part in a tournament to raise money for such a worthwhile cause and after working our way through the group stages, winning the final in style was a great feeling for the team. To then be offered the chance to play against a team of football legends was amazing, and to beat them so convincingly was the icing on the cake.”

The Ultraframe team comprised of staff from right across the business, including Trevor Watkins, Mark Davies, Will Rimmington, Matt Donaldson, Paul Demaine, Darren Masterson, David Anwar and Damian McKay.

In total, over £20,000 was raised for MacMillan Cancer Relief through the tournament.
