Badminton Installations is celebrating its membership of Ultraframe’s Registered Conservatory Installer Scheme Approved by the Guild of Master Craftsmen (URCIS) with the launch of a new prestigious show room in Bristol.

The company, which has been installing conservatories for more than 15 years, is opening the impressive display centre at the Font Hill Garden Centre, in Bitton. It will showcase Ultraframe conservatories including Uzone, Victorian and Ultralite 500 to demonstrate that the company can provide a conservatory to suit all tastes and budgets.

Badminton Installations has recently passed the stringent vetting criteria to become an URCIS member which is the most comprehensive scheme of quality accreditation in the conservatory installation industry, promoting the highest standards of workmanship and customer service. Already members of the Guild of Master Builders they felt the Ultraframe scheme would be attractive to homeowners as it enables them to make an informed choice of a contractor and assures them of an excellent level of service and product quality.

To be accepted for the scheme Badminton Installations had to pass an Ultraframe installation test to demonstrate their ability to complete a job to the highest standard, then undergo a number of vetting and selection procedures including homeowner references. They have now committed to Ultraframe annual training and regular monitoring of their performance.

Richard Cox, General Manager of Badminton, said: “We believe Ultraframe really do what they say they will do. We think they have a very clear, well-defined long-term strategy. They are constantly improving their products and always developing to meet and exceed customer demands. Ultraframe marketing support is excellent and it certainly helps us market ourselves. We are delighted to be accepted onto the URCIS scheme. It is something we can be very proud of, and it will help us reassure our customers that we really are a good, well trained and trustworthy business.”

“Our new showroom demonstrates that we can offer something for everyone, from small Victorian to large bespoke conservatories, or even a large lean-to with a gable front and a glass roof which we currently have on show at the new show centre.”

Ultraframe’s Sales Director Nick Brown said: “Badminton Installations is a growing, successful business and we are delighted to be able to welcome them as part of the Ultraframe Registered Conservatory Installer Scheme. URCIS is most the most robust installer scheme available offering exclusive membership benefits for quality installers such as opportunities to maximise sale leads and become part of an elite team with a excellent support package. URCIS members also benefit from a privileged saving on the vetting fee to join FENSA.”

As a URCIS member, Badminton Installations will also benefit from the extensive consumer marketing campaign generated by Ultraframe. Most URCIS members receive plenty of customer referrals generated by this activity including national newspaper and magazine coverage.

Nick Brown continued: “We are currently receiving over 300 calls a week asking for recommended conservatory installers, a copy of the Ultraframe Essential Guide to Conservatories and our quality products. We provide homeowners with a list of URCIS installers available in their area. We then inform our URCIS members regularly of the number of referrals we have generated for them. The numbers are growing and several installers have commented on how they are obtaining leads daily from our marketing campaigns.

It is a true partnership. URCIS members are reaping real business benefits from the scheme and Ultraframe, the UK market leader, is building stronger relationships with its key customers. It all adds up to increased success and bigger business.”
